FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your published yields realistic?

They are measured from working rigs, not perfect-condition lab pours. Closed cell at 4,000 to 4,500 board feet per set and open cell at 15,000 to 16,000 assume a tuned machine and reasonable substrate temperatures. If your rig runs meaningfully under those numbers, call us; that is usually a processing problem we can help solve.

How do I choose open vs. closed cell?

Let moisture and depth decide. Closed cell wherever vapor control, flood resistance or structure matters, and wherever cavity depth is tight. Open cell where depth is generous and cost per R or sound control leads. We will happily talk through a specific assembly before you order.

Do you ship seasonal formulations?

Yes, winter and summer grades ship automatically by season and geography, and we will flag the change on your order confirmation so your gun settings are ready for it.

Can I switch from my current supplier mid-season?

Contractors do it routinely. Send us the TDS of what you run now and we will give you a straight cross-reference, including any processing adjustments, before your first order.

What does shipping look like?

Drum sets ship from Wisconsin nationwide, typically within days for stock systems. Volume shops can schedule standing monthly deliveries so chemical arrives before the calendar needs it.

Is there a distributor program?

Yes. Regional distributors and multi-rig contractors can qualify for tote pricing, terms and territory consideration. Mention distribution in the contact form and we will send the program outline.
